Religious Education Registration
for Children and Youth

Now accepting registration for Religious Education 2013-2014!

All families are welcome and encouraged to attend our Opening Sunday Worship; a multigenerational, family oriented service celebrating the beginning of the year on Sunday, September 8th at 10am followed by the All Church Picnic.

At North Shore Unitarian Church (NSUC), we offer a variety of programs and classes, from Nursery to Senior High School. Beginning Sunday, September 15th, Religious Education (RE) programs and classes are offered at 10:00AM. RE occurs during service and most classes start in the Sanctuary. Multigenerational Services are attended by all RE students as no RE is offered, however the Nursery is open.  For special event services all RE students start in the Sanctuary and then proceed to their classroom.

Visitors are always welcome. Please see one of our Sunday Assistants in the RE Wing if this is your first time visiting us or would like more information. Visitors are asked to fill out a “First Time Visitors Form” for their children attending Religious Education.  The First Time Visitors form is available at church or here (Download the First Time Visitor Form Here). After three visits, we ask you to register your child/youth in the RE Program.

Although registration is on-going, we ask returning families to complete the registration as soon as possible. For those new to the RE Program and NSUC, please see the Director of Religious Education or the Sunday Assistants for more information about the registration processes. Please fill out and return all registration pages to the RE Office. The last page provides RE Volunteer Opportunities; all RE families are requested to volunteer in the RE program.

Starting in Fall 2013, a RE Registration Fee of $50 per registered RE student is charged (with a cap of $150 per family).  There is also a $10 Snack Fee per student charge. The fees apply for all students; Nursery through Youth Group. For more information about scholarships please contact the Director of Religious Education.

Those that registered in the Spring may pay their RE Registration Fee and/or Snack Fee by bringing a check Opening Sunday or mail it (address below).  All  RE registrations and snack fees for registered students are to be paid in full by September 30th.
