Unitarian Universalists believe in a shared ministry. We look to our minister for spiritual and intellectual leadership, but we view the congregation – each and every member -- as creating and owning the ministry of the church.
NSUC offers many opportunities for members and their families to volunteer their unique talents. Many are within the church, such as the Religious Education Program, the annual Rummage Sale, the Art Fair, or on the Caring Ministry, which helps others in time of need. Other good works take place in the community, from the Jump Start Program that assists homeless families to the Food Bank that collects and distributes food at locations in Lake County.
