Show Hours: Saturday, April 25, 2009, 10 AM to 6 PM Sunday, April 26, 2009, 11 AM to 5 PM
Setup Times: Set-up times are April 24 (Friday evening), 5 – 10 PM and April 25 (Saturday morning), 8 – 10 AM.
Exhibitors are responsible for providing, setting up, and dismantling their own displays. Weather is never a problem since all exhibit spaces are indoors.
Exhibit Space: Exhibit spaces are assigned based on both the exhibitor’s needs and the show’s goals.The minimum exhibit space is 64 square feet.Exhibit spaces range in size and shape.The artist or their representative is required to be at their booth throughout the show to discuss their work.
Security: Overnight security is provided Friday and Saturday nights, April 24 and 25, 2009. Artists can leave their displays up from Friday through Sunday.
Assistance: Exhibitor assistance is available before and during the show. Volunteers are on hand to answer questions and direct you. Our goal is to make your participation
in the fair both pleasant and successful.
Postcards: NSUC produces 50 full color postcards available
FREE to exhibitors to distribute to their own mailing list.
Children’s Activities: The Joy Hodgen Children’s Art Workshop (4 years +) and Babysitting (infants and toddlers) are FREE to the Exhibitors. These services are available Saturday,
10 am to 5 pm; and Sunday, 11 am to 4 pm.
Food: Food and drink are provided at the show, as follows: A light, complementary dinner is provided on Friday evening from 6 pm to 7 pm for the exhibitors. A free continental breakfast is provided on Saturday morning from 9 am to 10 am for the exhibitors. During show hours, food and drink are available for purchase at the Artists’ Palate Café.
Sales: All art purchases are processed through the church and sales are final. Trained cashiers accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, and Discover) throughout the fair. The church retains 15% of all sales. The balance is mailed to the exhibitor within two weeks of the show along with an itemized
list which contains names/addresses of all purchasers.
Art Fair Raffle: Exhibitors are requested to donate a piece of their work of nominal value for the Art Fair Raffle. The donations are tax deductible under state and
federal guidelines, and NSUC provides a letter for the exhibitor’s records. A member of the Art Fair staff will collect donations on Friday evening and Saturday morning. All donations shall be prominently displayed with the exhibitor’s name Thank you in advance for participating in the Raffle.
Accommodations: For our exhibitors from out-of-town, overnight Lodging is available within 15 miles of the church.
