UUA Awards NSUC Green Sanctuary Status
It took two years, tireless work on the part of dozens of volunteers and the cooperation and participation of the entire NUSC community. The Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations recognized NSUC as an Accredited Green Sanctuary!
The award letter noted, “Your application offers strong evidence of the positive environmental consciousness that has developed in your congregation, resulting in new behaviors and new lifestyle choices by members individually and by the congregation as a whole.”
Congratulations to all involved! As the UUA award letter noted, “Your accomplishments serve as a beacon of home, demonstrating that we can all make a difference!”
