Junior Choir and Next Step

Junior choirOur Junior Choir Program seeks to develop our students' spirituality through the exploration of music. The singers are given the opportunity to understand the relevance of the music they present, both in context and in content.

Students learn a variety of songs from many genres, which are used to teach universal themes of Unitarian Universalism and religious faith.

Led by Director Hannah Andersen, the Junior Choir participates in relevant services such as Harvest Festival, Christmas, Easter, and Martin Luther King Day. The choir shares its music with the congregation about once a month from September through May.

Junior Choir meets weekly from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings from September through May.

The Next Step Jr. Choir, for more serious singers, meets after the 2nd service each Sunday.
