Religious Education Program and Classes
Our Religious Education Program seeks to grow lifelong Unitarian Universalists: open-minded individuals committed to spiritual growth, celebrating life’s blessings and developing a sense of reverence, compassion, humanism and gratitude towards the interconnected web of life.
Our RE program is offered from newborns through twelfth grade. Our classes and programs are organized by age or grade level. Please use the menus to the left or under the top navigation bar.
All children and youth, from Nursery through 12th Grade, who attend the Religious Education Program at North Shore Unitarian Church are asked register. Visitors can attend three times before they are asked to register. The annual RE Registration Fee is $50 per registered child/youth with a cap of $150 per family. In addition, there is an annual $10 Snack Fee per registered child/youth. For information about waivers, please contact the Religious Education Committee Chair.
Our students start either in the Sanctuary or in their classroom. At Multigenerational Services no RE is offered, however the Nursery is open for our youngest children. For special service events, such as Jr. Choir performances, Guest at Our Table, Child Dedication, RE Teacher Appreciation Sunday and Bridging etc. all students start in the Sanctuary and then proceed to their classrooms; the Nursery is open for our youngest children. The older students attend a few scheduled services per year.
