April 27, 2014
Kathryn Vanden Berk
Kathryn Vanden Berk went to the Island of Iona for a week-long retreat in 2004. Learn about the Abbey’s founding by St. Columba in 563, its long history and decline, and its restoration after World War II by a group of unemployed shipbuilders from nearby Glasgow.

North Shore Unitarian Church is a diverse Unitarian Universalist community in which members support one another in a free and responsible search for truth and meaning. United by shared values of fellowship, justice and compassion, we serve our community and care for the environment. NSUC's religious tradition embraces theological diversity, rather than a single creed. We seek spiritual growth, commit to social action, and strive always to care for one another. We are a welcoming congregation, and all are invited to attend.
